The ITN Team
Science and technology for better world.
Erick White, Ph.D.,
Fuel Cell Process Engineer
Dr. Erick White recently rejoined the ITN team after completing his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. For his thesis project he used electrical impedance measurements to characterize the barrier function of human cadaver skin. Dr. White also holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado. Dr. White’s prior work with the ITN Fuel Cell group included screening of solid oxide fuel cell cathode materials by impedance spectroscopy, characterizing catalytic partial oxidation reactors for the pretreatment of liquid hydrocarbon fuels, and fabricating and characterizing ITN’s monolithic fuel cell stack. Prior to joining ITN, Dr. White worked for Tetra Tech Environmental where he led field teams collecting near-surface geophysical data for the remediation of unexploded ordnance at various sites in the United States.
