Scott Kato
Manager, Equipment Division

Mr. Scott Kato serves as ITN’s Manager of the Thin-Film Deposition Systems division, as well as the organization’s Safety Officer. With more than 10 years of Mechanical Engineering experience in manufacturing and independent design environments, Mr. Kato brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from past professional endeavors. Within his role at ITN, Mr. Kato assumes responsibility for divisional project management, R&D, product design, rapid prototyping, and manufacturing process management. Prior to ITN, Mr. Kato served as the Senior Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager for Samson Design Associates, where he provided professional engineering consulting services to small, medium, and large-size corporations. Consultation services included accountability for project management, operational structure, financing operating parameters, and scheduling. Previous to Samson, Mr. Kato acted as a R&D Engineer for Caire, Inc., where he managed product design, prototyping, testing, and implementation. Mr. Kato holds an Engineering degree from Red Rocks Community College, and numerous technical and engineering certifications.
